Students Grievance and Redressal Committee

Objectives

  • To handle all grievances with utmost confidentiality, ensuring the privacy and dignity of the individuals involved.
  • To provide a transparent, unbiased, and uniform process for addressing student grievances.

Procedure

Students are encouraged to submit their grievances in writing or by placing them in the designated Grievance Box or by handing them directly to the faculty in charge of the Grievance Committee. Complaints can also be raised through email: sgrc@cce.edu.in

The aggrieved student may appear either in person or authorize a representative to present the case.

Functions

  • The Committee shall review and resolve the grievance within a period of 10 days of receipt of complaint.
  • After investigating the matter and identifying an appropriate solution, the Committee will forward its recommendations to the Principal for necessary action.
  • Grievances not resolved by the Student Grievance and Redressal Committee (SGRC) within the time period provided in these regulations may be referred to the Ombudsperson by the university.
