Industrial Visit

Recent Trends in Agentic AI
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering successfully organised an Interactive talk session on Recent Trends in Agentic AI by Ms. Neethu Tunish (Principal Infosec Engineer, HMH - Education, USA) on 19th August 2025. The session provided valuable insights into emerging developments in Agentic AI and its applications, which will benefit students in understanding the future direction of Artificial Intelligence technologies.

consultancy services
As part of our consultancy services, an automatic control module was developed for the household water pump , featuring manual and automatic modes, remote control via mobile app, and low-voltage protection. The work was successfully carried out by students Praise Varghese Paul (S7 EC), Daniel Joseph (S7 EC), and Jasmine Baby (S5 EC) under the guidance of Ms. Sreelekha T.

EXPOKE 6.0
EXPOKE 6.0 – Interdisciplinary Project Expo by the students of S1 CSA, CSB, CSC, CSD, DS, BS & ECE (2025–2029 Batch) has been successfully completed today. The expo showcased a wide range of innovative ideas and well-designed prototypes, reflecting the hard work, creativity, and teamwork of our first-year students.

Industrial Training
Industrial Training on STM32 Embedded Systems, IoT & AI Applications, in association with Tensorbot, has been successfully completed by final year ECE students starting from 6th October. This 100-hour hands-on training for S7 ECE students highlighted Department’s focus on bridging academia with real-world opportunities in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering had the privilege to organise an industrial visit towards Hykon India Pvt.Ltd and Amala Institute of Medical Sciences for our S8 students and S4 instrumentation students.The students got an opportunity to witness the production of PCB design process and the manufacturing framework of UPS and inverters from Hykon India Pvt.Ltd. Student Enrichment Program
SEP was conducted for S4 EC students in association with Xalten systems at maker village, Kalamassery on 3rd and 4th March. Students could gain hands-on experience in PCB design and fabrication through the interactive sessions arranged inside maker village.

Outreach project
As part of the Social Outreach project of the Department of ECE for Techletics 4.0, we organised a one-day Entrepreneurship Support Programme for Kudumbasree members of Irinjalakuda Municipality. About 50 members from different Kudumbasree neighbourhood groups were given hands-on training in crafting different types of LED bulbs from raw materials, which they can transform into employment through self-help group
