On January 3, 2023, an informative and insightful video talk series episode titled "Job Prospects in VLSI" was conducted. The session aimed to provide students with an understanding of the employment opportunities in the field of Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI). It was attended by the following batches: 2020-2024, 2021-2025, 2022-2026.

Boot camp: industrial applications of 8051 microcontroller
The Boot camp on "Industrial Applications of 8051 Microcontroller," conducted in collaboration with ECTA from 6-5-2023 to 7-5-2023. The Boot camp was designed for students of the 2021-2025 batch, aiming to enhance their knowledge and practical skills in microcontroller applications.

Product development and sale: Making of glowing rosary with LEDs
The product development and sale initiative involving the creation of a Glowing Rosary with LEDs. The project took place in collaboration with ECTA on 28-09-2022 and was designed for the student batch 2021-2025. The primary objectives were to combine creativity, technical skills, and entrepreneurship.

Product development and sale: LED bulb assembly: Sparc sale
The LED bulb assembly project, titled 'Sparc Sale,' conducted in partnership with ECTA on 21-07-2022 for the student batch 2021-2025. The initiative aimed to provide students with hands-on experience in product development and entrepreneurship. Students actively participated in the assembly of LED bulbs, gaining practical knowledge in product manufacturing and quality control.

Talk on ‘Global Education Opportunities’ (Prisma'23)
On April 4, 2023, ECTA organized an enlightening talk on 'Global Education Opportunities' as part of Prisma'23 which was attended by the 2020-2024 batch . The aim of this talk was to provide students with insights into international education opportunities and the potential benefits of pursuing higher studies abroad. The session was conducted by Mr. Ijaz Muhammed, a seasoned Career Consultant and TESOL Canada Certified Trainer.

On April 1, 2023, ECTA organized an informative and hands-on Student Master Program titled "PCB-Workshop" as part of Prisma'23 which was attended by the 2022-2026 batch. This program aimed to provide students with practical knowledge and skills in designing and fabricating Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).

Workshop: Introduction to data science using python
The workshop titled "Introduction to Data Science using Python," organized in collaboration with ECTA on 10/10/2022. The workshop was tailored for the student batch 2020-2024 and aimed to introduce them to the foundational concepts of data science. Ms. Jasmine Jolly, from the Department of CSE (CCE), served as the resource person and conducted engaging sessions on data science using Python.

Alumni interaction:Pioneer’s path
On November 19, 2022, ECTA had the privilege of hosting Ms. Vinita Varghese, a distinguished expert with a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida, USA. Ms. Varghese shared her extensive knowledge and insights on the topic of "Alumina Interaction: Pioneer’s Path" with the association members which was attended by the following batches:2019-2023, 2020-2024, 2021-2025.

Robo Soccer
The Robo Soccer competition, an exciting robotic football event held as a part of Prisma 2023. The competition, organized in collaboration with ECTA and IEEE, took place on 13/04/2023, and it was exclusively designed for participants from the Department of ECE.

Veg Processor, Converge
An online event named "Veg Processor, Converge" was organized on 10/02/2023 at 9.00 pm by the IEDC CCE with the aim of introducing the management of processors, with a particular focus on vega processing. The event was designed for students and was conducted entirely online.

Logic Circuit Designing competition-Bug Buster (Prisma'23)
A technical competition was organised as part of PRISMA 2023 based on Logic Circuit Design Course.Students were asked to debug a logic circuit (assembled on a software platform) abiding by a certain condition, that they could defuse a ‘virtual bomb’. Three circuits were given for solving, and the teams that completed with least time and attempts were given prizes.

IEDC Summit 2023
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) Student Summit is an annual event that brings together students and professionals from different industries to discuss and promote innovation and entrepreneurship. The summit aims to encourage young minds to explore new ideas, collaborate, and share experiences that will help them build successful careers in entrepreneurship.

Talk from expert: Chase your dreams for higher studies
An expert talk on higher studies opportunities in the USA was arranged for the first year students. Mr. Paul Kuttikadan, CEO,C.S solutions, USA talked about different Universities, prospective courses and the general application procedures. He emphasised the importance of higher learning, and the necessity of being an active learner throughout life. Fr.John Paliakara CMI, the Executive Director, inaugurated the session.

Extra curricular activity: Shoot out competition
Fund raising initiative under ece association ECTA. S8 ece coordinated the whole event and received external participation. 32 teams registered for the event. Event was inaugurated by Father John Paliakara Exe Director at 10:00 am. Event came to an end by around. prize distribution to the winners was done HOD ece. Team eagles maprnam won the championship. Runner-up for the event was from s2 ece- 2021-2025 batch.

The 69th IETE foundation day celebration of IETE Kochi center was hosted by Christ College of Engineering, Irinjalakuda (CCE) on Thursday, 17th November 2022. The programme was presided over by Mr.M.N Narayanan, Chairman, IETE Kochi Centre. The program started at 11:00 am with a prayer song by Lia and Johanna. On 17th October 2022, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at CCE conducted a session titled 'SpacED' for its students. The session was held in the Conference Hall of the institution and began promptly at 10.30 am. The resource person for the session was Mr. Gabe Gabrielle, a renowned scientist and motivational speaker who currently works at Kennedy Space Centre NASA.

Lets Duet - Music Competition
Let’s Duet”, an intra college Duet song competition was organised by the Department of ECE and ECTA. Staff Coordinators:Tony C Thomas,Agnel John KJ, Catherine J Nereveettil. It aimed at not only providing a opportunity for the singers to showcase their talents, but also for the students to learn organising events,team work, and managing projects. Eleven teams registered for the event.A primary screening was carried out at the Conference hall by Anjaly miss,Reshma miss,, Sreelakshmi miss.

SALT
The Electronics and Communication department of Christ College of Engineering has successfully organised 'SALT' on 9th July 2022 The session was conducted at St.Marys HSS Irinjalakuda.1:30pm. A few basics on the arduino circuit and a few basic sensors were introduced. Further delivering info about the Arduino Hardware and the software related to it. The students were provided with the basics of circuit simulation using Tinkercad software and finished off with a display of robots.

Hands-on workshop: PCB Design and Fabrication
A hands-on session on PCB Design and Fabrication was organized by the Department of ECE, IETE Students Forum, and IEDC CCE. The students were trained in creating PCB design in Orcad Capture, in transferring the printed design to PCB boards, etching and drilling. The programme was attended by 60 students from S6 ECE, S8 ECE and a student from Christ College Autonomous.

On February 10, 2023, ECTA organized a hands-on workshop titled "Introduction to Vega Processors", which was attended by the 2021-2025 batch. This workshop aimed to introduce students to Vega processors and provide practical insights into their usage. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Shijo George, an Embedded System Engineer, and Mr. Alex M Sunny, Co-Founder of Astrek Innovations Private Ltd., Kochi.
