WHY MATHEMATICS IN ENGINEERING ?

The science club of Department of applied science ,Christ college of Engineering Irinjalakuda organized a PPT presentation competition on the topic”Why Mathematics in Engineering?”for all the first and second year students of Christ college of Engineering.The competion was held on June 10 ,2021. The programme was coordinated by Ms.Neethu K and Prijimol V B. Alex neelenkavil won the first prize in this competition.

NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Scientia,the science club of Christ college of Engineering,Irinjalakuda has organized a hands-on-workshop for first year students on “Innovation and Product development”.The session was conducted on February 28,2022.Fr.Joy Peenikaparambil inaugurated the session and Dr.V D John,Vice principal,Christ college of Engineeringwas the resource person.The very useful hands-on session on making herbal soaps and pain relief balm was organized by Dr.Sreedevi.A and Ms.Neethu K.

VIDEO MAKING COMPETITION

Department of Basic science and Humanities ,Christ college of Engineering, Irinjalakuda presented on International environment day, a ten minute video making competition on the topic Zero waste. The competition was a very useful one and discovered the endless possibilities of recycling and reusing. The programme was coordinated by Dr. V D John and Ms Famy Francis. There were 12 video entries and among that Ivan Kavungal (ECE)has won the first prize.
